migrating somewhere else
We were told you are migrating the groups somewhere else is this true? We were not made aware of this until a rumor started and now want to know what we should do with our groups as last time something like that was done many people just came here to start groups, but no one in here informed us that you might be doing that to my knowledge.
Re: migrating somewhere else
Maybe can't say because our group just got whiff of it. So you are moving over and then we have to find a new site to go to? Is this a new learning curve? We done that before and they have other sites they prefer to stay with since they know them already, so debating now whether we need to close this group down as well since we moved to another one to hopefully have less issues in it. Let me have our group look at this and they have the final say-but is this a new place for the groups now? Or am I reading this wrong?
Just threw this past one manager who said to me below

no no they aren't moving us there I hope
when I first saw this awhile back I moved Babbs Cafe there
A mess couldn't figure anything out.
I am afraid you might be doing what yuku done when they went to tapatalk or something like that and that was a mess and everyone scattered all over to get out of there. Sorry I did move one group there but will end up transeferring it back if it is the way I am invisioning it to be

Re: migrating somewhere else
Thank you as we did move BOF over which will take two days to move from what I gather and see what this is about but why not just work on making this one better then doing more projects? Seems to me you would want perfection out of this one before we move onto something else-just saying
Re: migrating somewhere else

if you have a suggestion or an idea you can post it here https://help.forumotion.com/f29-suggestions

Re: migrating somewhere else
There is NO plan to move our host or any of our forums.
If there was a plan to move or close shop then why would we be doing updates still ?
We have just made a change to the PM system the like buttons system has been updated and more thing are in the pipe work for updates.
The forumclub is just a new system we have added it is not to replace anything it's still hosted by us 100% it's just a new system we have to offer that's it.
You have nothing to worry about.

Re: migrating somewhere else
Hello,
As mentioned above, Forumotion is not migrating anywhere. Forumclubs is a separate service that is owned and operated by our parent company. While you do have the option to turn your forum into a club you do not have to do this. I think whoever started this rumor saw the post about Forumclubs and jumped to conclusions that simply aren't true.
Fear not, Forumotion is not going anywhere.
