In order to read the messages in the chat box, you must make a live connection. And to see the previous ones you have to go to the archive. It is not functionally correct for members who do not know they think that no one has written in chat box. Better remove the connection and make the messages appear all in the chat box will be like the chat box bulletin.

The problem I mention is that the chat discussions do not appear if you do not connect. and the other is that to see the previous discussions you have to go to the archive. New members do not know the settings and that is why chat is not functional.

So you want guests and members not connected to the chatbox to see the messages?

That way anyone can enter the forum and see the messages of a chat, I do not think that these messages should be available to everyone and the way to protect them is to connect to the chat.

The administrator has the ability to configure from the admin panel who can see the chatbox

The reason the old comments are not all saved is so we save space on our servers and to stop slowdowns on the chatbox this is why we only have them on our archive's this then saves just a handful of your comments to read.

To save this on your main chatbox would slow down servers.
