Icons for topics

The icons for topics aren't changing. Like I added a new topic and the icon should have changed from the frog to the lion. Instead, it did nothing.

If you mean the new icon, it would not be new for you. Have you tested with an account that was not logged in when you created the topic?

How would I do that? Make a test account?

Hello,

Can you ask a member who was not logged in when you made the topic if it changed for them? The icon is meant to alert members to posts they haven't seen since their previous visit. Since you made the topic the system will see it as you having read the topic already and not update the icon for you.

Yes you can make a test account and then use a different browser then your admin account then make a post using one of the account's and then flick from one account to the other making sure you refresh the other account

Since this is a forum 'in the making' I have no members yet. I will make a test account and try it as per Ape's instructions. Will let you know if that doesn't work. Thank you all very much!
