Description of problem

Hello, I will like to mention an error that I am having within the admin panel for my forum. This has been a problem for quite some time now. Here is the problem. The feature within the category "Display" under the "Security tab" Disable password recovery for administrators and moderators always changes back to Yes all the time, even after I set it to No. I am not sure why this is happening and it seems like a bug of some sort. Please help me fix this problem because if I do forget my password and I try to login again it will not allow me to login, I am unable to make a new password. Reply back as soon as you are ample to and thanks.

Are you saying this issue only occurs when you use Microsoft Edge?  Also are you saying that when you change it to no and click the save button, it does not save the change?

Yes, this problem occurs within the Microsoft Edge browser, I choose the option "Yes" to allow password recovery it doesn't save the changes. After about 20 or 40 minutes later it changes back to "No". I will look more into this issue but thank you for your response on the matter.

After clearing my browsing history for Edge the setting saved the settings successfully, thank you so much for your help.
