Solved Logged off automatically?

Post by bluey October 6th 2009, 5:10 am

Hello guys

I have 3 questions.

1..Some of my members complained that they are logged off automatically after few minutes. I don't have the problem but they have, so how should I solve their problem?

2..I have made a member moderator, now I want to remove her, how would I do that?

3..How would I change the color of members. I know how to change Admins and mods color but don't know about members?

Thank you so much in advance. Smile

Logged off automatically? Hello

1) It's a known issue on Internet Explorer, I am un aware if it will be resolved in the future or not.
If it's on another browser we'd have to investigate it a little further, but we would need to know what browser it is first.

2) Just go to the moderator group and remove the member.

3) You could make a group called "members" and add your members to it which would change the users within that group to change their name to the colour the group is.
Next week were getting an update which will allow auto-subscribing to a group such as a members group Wink

Thanks you so much for your very quick reply

You are great

1.. Ok I will ask them if they are using IE

2.. Thank you so much, it's done. It was so simple

3..Wow, that would be great. I will wait till next week because it's hard to keep an eye on every new member and then add them to the group

I have one other question if you have time ansnweing it.

We had Thanks option before, is that removed?

The thanks option should be still there. It is on my forum.

Ok it could be because of the work forumotion is doing with the servers. Could I have a link to your forum to see for myself?

Sorry I am out of ideas. Maybe a staff member here will be able to answer your question.

One more idea: Did you save the change after you activated the thanks option in the administration panel?
