Hacking Threat!!

I have had a threat by someone i know who has said that they are going to hack my board
I know this person and there IP address is it worth going to the Police over this?
I cant let people like this win but i am unsure as what to do next please advise if you can?

And you think that if he had the skills to hack greater websites he would hack your free forum?????

If he hacks,send a pm to Typlo of Luky.
Dont go to the police because you dont know how crazy this man can be.
Also,if you had something illegal to your forum,this will result to jail or you will have to pay lots of money.

the police would not even do anything unless it was hacked and even then they most likely would not even bother with it..Plus it would depend on the damages and if you can track the guy down etc.. you would call them and they give you some kind run around a cheap excuse or tell you somewhere else you have to report it.. who knows, the police dont care about someones forum being hacked
thee are to many more serious crimes going on so unless it really effected someone in a serious way they would not even bother to go through everything to get some retarded hacker hacking a forumotion forum.
And if you where persistent about it and they finally investigate it.. then you can be going through this for a couple years or more or less.. it would depend on exactly what was done. but now you get a real hacker hacking into the police computer.. hahaha i bet they would jump right on that one... lol ya think

i would just send him a message saying that he has been reported, then ban him or what ever and just ignore any further messages you might get from him. but definitely keep everthing he says for your records.

I would ban his IP address and email address so he can not even register on your forum.

I have banned his IP and Email but they are easy to change really
I know this person and his brother as they used to be friends. Until i sacked one of them
I have changed all my passwords etc i supose i just got to wait and see what happens
