Help with groups and private messages
I have two questions
How(If possible), do I make it so that when I add somebody to a group, they automatically are given a specific rank. Say I wanted to give somebody administrator. Right now I have to go to groups and add them to administrators, and then search for their name separately and give them the administrator rank.
Also, I was wondering how I can make a window pop up when people receive private messages.

Re: Help with groups and private messages
You can't give the rank automatically. You can go automatically to their profile and go down to Administrate this user- Profile; and go all the way and give them the rank;
Re: Help with groups and private messages
The only way to give rank automatically is for the rank to have a post requirement.

Re: Help with groups and private messages
For the PM pop up box, you'll need to go to:
1. Profile
2. Preferences Tab
3. Select 'Display a pop-up window for new private messages : Yes'

Re: Help with groups and private messages
But how do I make it default for everybody who uses the forum?

Re: Help with groups and private messages
There is not a default setting for it in the administration panel. Each member has the option in their profiles.
