Where Can I Find my Members Ip Addesses?

I am new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone can tell me where I would be able to find my members IP Address after they sign up? I need a forum that lists these in case of necessary bans.

Please get back to me asap so I can decide whether this is the host for me or not.

go to acp > users & groups > users profiles > pick a username it should be there

By acp do you mean my administration panel?

Okay Thought so...When I click on a username there is nothing that shows their IP at all...is there a setting I should have clicked upon set up that I missed somewhere?

For IP addresses, there are only two ways to see them:

1. In a post, there should be a IP address button.

2. When they are logged in, their IP addresses will show on the Who's Online section on the home page of the administration panel, at the bottom right corner.

I can then only see the IP if they are currently logged on or have posted a write up...am I understanding correctly? Sorry forums are hard for me to wrap my head around and I have only been learning since last summer both this and how to run a server so it is a bit much at times...not trying to be a pain:( TIA for your help and understanding:D

Yes that is correct.

Had my son post a test message and then a box comes up on his post that says Find IP I believe...and once I clicked it it shows the ip.

The ip's are only visible to staff of the forum correct?

Only administrators can see them, but you can give Moderators the able to see them, too.

Administration Panel > Users & Usergoups > Special Rights
