Solved Conformity and Terms of Service

Post by wdhebert February 29th 2012, 5:10 am

Hello. I received the message in my admin panel:

"Dear "xxx" forum administrator(s), it appears that your forum doesn't respect our Terms of service. Our service is free, so we are urged to only display legal content on the forums.

You have have until the 09-03-2012 to be in conformity. After this delay, we will have to delete your forum if it still isn't in conformity."

I have read what could have potentially cause this, but not certain what I need to delete on my own forum. There is a lot of content and I'm not exactly sure what is in violation. Are the mods allowed to directly tell me?

You need to get all your staff members to help you go through the whole forum to check all posts, links, images, etc. for anything that could be breaking the Terms of Service - https://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/terms-of-service.htm .

Make sure all your posts, downloads, and content follow the Terms and Services located here.

This basically means your forum have been marked for not following these ToS.
