Hey,

Basically someone posted this below:

I was wondering if this is illegal according to:

I told them it was but they thought it wasn't. I've owned 2 FMs forums and I'm currently admin on:

Well the images are not really against the ToS, but the post about hacking the game is against he ToS.

Right they've changed the topic title and called it "mods" instead of "hacks". Still against ToS?

Well I was wondering if it was illegal to do it. Mean should I report or should I just tell them if it's allowed or not? It is though against the FM ToS?

Just really want a yes or no answer. If I have to report it I will. I just wanted to inform them if it's illegal instead of going reporting their forum to get it deleted.

Well, i don't really understand you.

If you feel they are illegal, you can report them. We as staff members cannot give you a exact picture on it, because we are unaware of what their forum does. The link you posted, has nothing illegal i feel.

Highly doubt it. Hacking video games is the not the same as say, hacking a website or server.

A search on Google for Action Replay or something related brings up hundreds of Forumotion video game hacking forums. There are Pokemon hacking, Wii hacking, Mario cheats, etc.

So sorry, I highly doubt this is illegal, since so many forums have bypassed it. Plus, hacking video games in general is not illegal.

Here's a simple answer;

Yes, it is against the ForuMotion ToS, as he is providing a mean to hack something, yes please report it Smile

It's Illegal in many countries.

Devine, anything to do with hacking, for example, hacking a video game, through to hacking the CIA is all under the category of "Hacking" and is thus considered Illegal.
Sure, it's done in a different way, as opposed to sitting infront of a PC compared to a Tv Screen (for example), but it has the same consequences, and the exact same law's apply.
