Solved Protected Forum

is there any way to make forum hide until user dont reach certain amount of posts?

like if you sign up and just can see introductions area so u cannot see whole forum until u dnt post your intro ?

any help will be appreciated

What I did is create a group that automatically adds users once they reach a certain # of posts, then went to permissions and only allowed that group.

Create a new group(Users&Groups -> Group Administration -> Create new group)

Set minimum posts for this group.(1)

Go to General -> Categories and Forums -> Any forum(what you need to hide) -> Permissions
Protected Forum Forum_zps7092ecdf

Remove the tick from introduction forum in the permissions tab, so it seen for newbies. Tick every other forum for this group, then everyone who got minimum 1 post seen everything.

i think i should untick all except introduction?

i followed u but its nt working can u explain a little more?

You are correct, Vampir3, you do need to untick the forums you do not want new members to see until they have x number of posts & tick the introduction forum.
