Registered Domain Name - Bought by Godaddy.com - cannot access forum
On November 27, 2013 - I bought a domain name for my forum havensgrove.forumotion.com under havensgrove.net. everything was fine and the new domain was working perfectly until this morning. Now when ever myself or my site members try to access the site, it forwards us to this weird page with strange links to other sites and it says that godaddy.com owns the domain name.Â
I don't even care about the money or the domain name, I just want my site back. Only problem is, I can't even access it to remove the domain name.
I'm fine with being havensgrove.forumotion.com but I need admin to go in and remove the domain name for me because I can't even view or edit my own site.
Please, PLEASE help!
*** adding on - I bought the domain name in my admin panel  with credits,  not through godaddy.com. I also already talked to godaddy.com and they can't do anything either :c

Re: Registered Domain Name - Bought by Godaddy.com - cannot access forum
I am glad to see that my site is running once more but when I go into my admin panel, it says that my site wasn't following the terms of service for forumotion.com because of bank fraud.
I bought the credits right out of my forumotion admin panel and applied them the same day to an unregistered domain name through forumotion.com.
I just wanted to make sure that forumotion knows that there was no fraud on my end.
I know you're still working with my site and I appreciated it very much, I just wanted to give you an update with the new information i recived.

You most have something on your forum that relates to bank fraud.havensgrove wrote:I am glad to see that my site is running once more but when I go into my admin panel, it says that my site wasn't following the terms of service for forumotion.com because of bank fraud.

Re: Registered Domain Name - Bought by Godaddy.com - cannot access forum
Hello. I am the owner of the website RcBurnout.com. My domain name recently expired and I bought credits and it's shows the domain is good for 361 days. But , now it shows Godaddy.com owns my domain name RcBurnout.com. I cannot access my site. The only way I can access it is thru a new domain name called Dragrace.crazy4us.com. Why is this so. I have renewed the domain name to keep the website. Please help.

Re: Registered Domain Name - Bought by Godaddy.com - cannot access forum
The only fraudulent relation I have is that I shared a domain name with a spamming site for about two days. The only reason that occured is because the domain name that I bought was suddenly reserved by godaddy.com only two days after I purchased it.
I have a bank statement that can prove that I paid for the domain name but it was paypal who reversed the transaction. Whom ever forumotion goes through to help site owners buy their domain names was flagged as an unsecured, and possibly fraudulent account. Paypal made me change ALL my information short of my name and birthdate. I then had to call my bank and have them flag my account incase someone did get ahold of my credit card information. I also had to cancel all my credit cards and get a new account number because the one i had used on paypal had been compromised.
My main concern with all of this is my site and my members. Havensgrove is almost 3 years in the making, a lot of people have put countless hours of time and effort into the site and I am most worried that we will be shut down because of something that was out of our control.
The domain name doesn't matter anymore, we would all be very happy to be good old havensgrove.forumotion.com again. Actually, we would like it very much if someone could remove the new web address (havensgrove.net) from the site all together because myself and my staff can't seem to figure out how to do it.
We know that the admin here are working very hard to solve the situation because I have a feeling that we are not the only misfortunate site this has happened to. Everyone truly appreciates your hard work, we just want to save our site.
P.S. it now says that I owe credits to forumotion.com, is there anyway to get the charge removed if/when the domain name (havensgrove.net) is removed for our site?
P.S.P.S: We truly would prefer to be havensgrove.forumotion.com again if that's a possibility c:
Thank you so, SO very much again, you guys are amazing!

I don't understand why you want to remove your domaine name. There is no link with the warning you got. Your domain name was not available because of a DNS problem. Now, wa have managed the problem and your forum is working properly
It would be a shame to remove your domaine name that looks good
Best regards

Re: Registered Domain Name - Bought by Godaddy.com - cannot access forum
I am mainly worried that this might happen again, im also unsure if paypal will let the transaction go through a second time. I don't want to risk bank fraud charges again, those bad boys are scary.
It says that I owe 1600 credits at the moment, im assuming i need to pay those yes?
