That solution doesn't fix it. I tried to do that but nothing happened. it doesn't work as always with this skin....

Check to see if you can use the chatbox now. If you cannot, try clearing your cache and then check.

Just for future reference, the problem comes from setting <html> or <body> position to relative. DO NOT set these elements as relative as it can cause visual bugs as seen here.

If you experience this you should do the following :
Administration panel > display > colors > CSS stylesheet

Find a rule similar to :

Code:: body { position:relative; }

or

Code:: html { position:relative; }

and remove the position declaration from the rule.

<html> and <body> do not need to be position relative as they usually span the window length and height. Because of this, making them a containing block for absolute elements is useless.

Now that we've figured out the cause, we should be able to identify this problem quicker if it occurs again. Since you two have confirmed your chatboxes are working again, I believe we can consider this solved.

Okay, was redirected from my thread to this place...
So, yep, after about 5 days, the chatbox has started working again... Surprising imo.

The problem is now solved.
