How do you fix "you cannot subscribe to this forum" error message?
Not sure if I'm putting this in the right place... please stuff it into the right category. The one I thought was right, I didn't have access too.
I've got an acct that went to go and change her profile settings. She says that every she changes anything, she always gets the "Sorry, you cannot subscribe to this forum. Please contact your administrator." (That's me.) I can change all her settings from the Admin panel, but for some reason she can't. I've set all the settings low as possible but SHE is the only one in the forum with the problem. I do not know if I put her account on some kind of restriction, but she can change everything else under her profile (preferences, avatar, signature, EVERYTHING except what's under the "Information" tab.
I've been looking for an answer so no, I have not put the forum on a holiday and opened my forum to all new users. I've double check that everything was marked and check from this: https://help.forumotion.com/t35100-how-to-unlock-your-forum
My forum link: OutlanderViewingRoom.forumotion.net
Any help would be appreciated. I tried to give as much possible information as I could here. I hope someone can help me.

What exactly is she trying to change?

She originally was trying to change her "Humor" section and then tried to change the "comments" section and then she found out she couldn't change anything on that tab without getting that message.SLGray wrote:What exactly is she trying to change?

Ask her to use a different browser.

I have, I've had her use both FF and Safari. Both did the same thing.SLGray wrote:Ask her to use a different browser.
I've tried finding an answer to this before coming on here and I think I've exhausted every answer I found.

So she cleared her browser's cache?

It was one of the first things I had her do.SLGray wrote:So she cleared her browser's cache?
I'm usually not this stumped. I'm a graphic artist and usually know my way around technical issues.
I mean, the forum is relatively new. Should I delete the acct and just have her start over?

I do not know what happened... I swear I did nothing. Apparently the problem fixed itself???
If it does it again, I'll come back. However, I usually try to problem solve first and try to find answers before bothering others.
Thank you for your help.
