Add points from the profile of the user

Hello,

My suggestion is simple. I am suggesting Moderators and Administrators to be able to change the points from the profile as you can change gender, comments etc. I believe this would come handy for those who don't want everyone to have access to the Admin Panel. That way Moderators who can't access Admin Panel can change the points field and add or subtract points from the profile of the users.

Please do not hesitate to tell me your opinion on this even if it is negative or positive!

Edit: In other words i am asking a way to make the points field editable like gender or comments and still change by itself. Something like this:

This suggest is a bit different, the field should have been modifiable by setting it in the acp anyway, but it is not. Was this points shop forumotion or other forums as well, because I know plenty of forums that have points Shops, including mine, it is not that hard to improvise one, although it is a pain for the Admins to have to manually handle the points modifcation, that is how this suggestion is useful.

Yeah, I'm just saying that the points system doesnt seem to be a top priority for the folks in charge.
There isn't even an option to reset points to zero as far as I know (which would be very useful.)

Reset everyone's points to zero? Why do that?
As for the modification of the field i think it is really necessary for those who use this on their forums. I used to have a shop based on with points and it was driving me crazy that i had to do everything.
All the rest field have the edit icon. Why this one is so hard to do?

Well if I ever wanted to start a points shop or something then I would have to reset peoples points so that it's all fair.
Anyway I think it's because points work like posts? And you can't edit posts either.

You don't need to reset them. You simply announce the store opening and that people can 'buy' items with their current points or their gained points in the future. Posts are something that cannot be modified from the Admin Panel either. Points can so it's different!

Voted yes, this would be quite convenient for me; I have a "cookie" (point) shop, and it's a bit of a hassle to go to the admin panel every time I want to deduct points from a member. 
In addition, regarding the current topic, I did need to reset everyone's points a while back because... well, I had messed around with the points and made it so that everything you did gave you 9999 points. And so as such, when I decided to open up a point shop, I needed to reset everyone's points. It was a hassle, which is why I hope a 'reset points' option is added to Forumotion in the future.

I vote yes! Except I'd say you'd have an option in the admin panel to make it where moderators can't and only admins can. But this would make it much easier so you don't have to go to the admin panel every time
