Add to the registration process
I wasn't quite sure what category to put this in, but anyway, I would like to add some things to my registration process
Firstly, above the "register" button, I would like to have a small disclaimer about the website, and explain that it is strictly 18+
Also, I was wondering if there is a way to have people fill out profile info upon registering, or add other things for them to fill out besides just the username, password and email.
I would like to add "age", and other things like that too, and perhaps blank fill ins (with questions above them)
Thank you for your help!!

Re: Add to the registration process
For age go to acp -> users & groups -> profiles
Birthday -> Necessary filled: yes
Birthday -> Necessary filled: yes
Re: Add to the registration process
Hi @littleatheart
Yes some if not all of them can be done,
With your profiles you can make them all as Necessarily filled's to do this you will need to do the following.
ACP >> Users & Groups tab >>
Users >> Profiles >>
For any that are made already just click on the >> Note some have a little Star >> * next to there names this will indicate that this is already a Necessarily filled and some can not be changed as this is set in the main system.
Please Note the more you add to the Necessarily filled's the more members will thing OMG this is hard work and may not make there account so please remember this when doing your change.
ok now for the Age Question.
You can set your forum to a minimum Age setting of what you like
To do this do the Following Step
ACP >> Users & Groups Tab >> Users >> Users options >> Birthdays think its 3rd down the page in the center >>
Allow birthday management : YES
Minimum user age : set to 18 Fill in the rest as you wish then SAVE.
Now to change the text of your Age limits on your main page
Please send me the following part of your templates as my test forum is down.
General >> agreement >> click on that and give me all the code you have and then i can Edit for you

Re: Add to the registration process
Thank you!! I did that and i've got it!!
I have a different problem now though!! D: and I don't know if I should make another post about it,
Members are NOT asked for their age upon registering to my forum, I don't know how to change it!!
They are asked for the username, email, password, and a captcha (and agree to terms of service)
Then after the email goes to admin, The link button automatically approves them, it doesn't let me look at the profile and then do it. Clicking on the link automatically approves them.
But I would really like for it to ask for at *least* their birthday/age upon registration, and a couple other fields.
-On both "Age" and "Birthday" I currently have the "members himself" box unchecked.
I tried having "Age" unchecked, so they could not change it, but it didn't show up. A place to fill in your "Age" doesn't currently exist anywhere on the website

ACP > User's and Groups > Profiles > Choose the profile field you want to be required then mark "Necessarily filled? " To Yes. > Save.
That profile field will now be required for the user to fill it at registration.

Why do you not start your own topic, because I believe you are asking about a different thing.

Administration Panel - Users & Groups - Users - Profiles
Modifying one or create a new one. You should see an option that says necessary filled. Check the yes box.

Admin Panel > General > Configuration > Login Popup > http://prntscr.com/66zhvj
set the dimensions you want for it and what you wish for it to say. And that is how you add that box.

Your solution.... is Eugeo Ayano on your foes list by any chance? If so... that would be why you did not see his post until SLGray quoted him.

Re: Add to the registration process
I think i have another question, how do you enable the feature that once you register, the admin needs to verify the user account before being allowed to come on the site like approve of the account?

Re: Add to the registration process
I would start a new topic for each additional question . Regardless go to acp-->Users&Groups-->User Options find New account Activation: Admin, SAVE.
