Re: About domain
I believe if buy a custom domain and someone types in your forum .forumotion.com address it will automatically re direct you to the new custom domain name.
If I remmeber correctly I think Buttercup (the pro admin) said all of Forumotion's domain names have www. or something.
I have never done this so I am not totally 100% sure, but I do watch all the other topics with domain name issues all the time so I learn a little bit about the process.
Hope this helps,
-Brandon

Re: About domain
Hello @sajber
actually you start with a domain name as http://myforum.forumotion.com
once that the domain name has been added to your forum with forumotion, you will have an option in your ACP to directly redirect your members from the old domain name yo your customized domain name
Furthermore, I remember that if you have posted in your topics some links with the old address, they will be switched to the new ones
