custom domain redirects back to original domain
Technical Details
Forum version : #phpBB3
Position : Founder
Concerned browser(s) : Google Chrome
Screenshot of problem : https://2img.net/h/oi65.tinypic.com/5fk9ig.jpg
Who the problem concerns : All members
When the problem appeared : It started after last package renewal.
Forum link : http://www.mustrimaailm.net/
Description of problem
Hi!I have a custom domain name and advanced package.
http://www.mustrimaailm.net/
But with last package renewal, forum keeps redirecting to original forum.co.ee address or says "This site can’t be reached".
All mustrimaailm.net links still work, but if the link is only http://www.mustrimaailm.net/ it redirects to forum.co.ee or doesn't open at all.
It happens in Chrome, in Firefox seems to be ok.

Re: custom domain redirects back to original domain
I had this custom name already years. It's not new.
Re: custom domain redirects back to original domain
Hmm, it works fine for me. You should try clearing website cache from your browser.

Re: custom domain redirects back to original domain
Try and turn off the redirect and then clear your browser then turn it back on again it looks like it may have a problem hitting the domain address from your ACP.
Re: custom domain redirects back to original domain
That seems like a cookie or cache issue. Please clear you cache and cookies and see if it solves the issue.

Yes.
It's fine over mobile phones/tablets and in Firefox.
Can you simplify it. How do I turn off redirect?Ape wrote:Try and turn off the redirect and then clear your browser then turn it back on again it looks like it may have a problem hitting the domain address from your ACP.
The problem seems to disappear for a moment and then it's back next.
New topics have a link without a custom domain name. Don't want to share that.
If I change letters to a custom domain (if you understand what I mean), link doesn't work.
Re: custom domain redirects back to original domain
STEP 1
ACP >> General tab >> Forum >> Forum address >> Personalized domain name Tab >> Force the URL redirection : NO then save
STEP 2
ACP >> General tab >> Forum >> Configuration >> scroll to the bottom >> Resynchronize your forum statistics : Tick the box then save.
STEP 3
ACP >> General tab >> Forum >> Forum address >> Personalized domain name Tab >> Force the URL redirection : YES then save
If after that you still have problems then i would call your host unless you have got the domain from us then i will ask our head office to take a look for you.
