Description of problem
Hi! I'm the founder of otxtest.forumotion.com, which is composed of the community from this forum; abandoned when its founder banned the majority of the community and left. Because the administrators and moderators (myself and another user) were banned or demoted, the forum is no longer useful for all intents and purposes. Our community would like to purchase our old domain: otthunderdome.com. It was purchased in March of 2013 and renewed in 2014. It was not renewed for the year of 2015 as far as I understand (the website still redirects to otrecliner.forumotion.com), but the registrar has taken ownership over the domain and has registered it until 2016; preventing us from adopting our community's beloved title.
I would appreciate it if this issue could be solved without spending more than the price of the domain (which we are eager to pay). Thanks!

Re: Domain Ownership Issue!
I'm the founder of the forum that we want to use the domain on. I was part of the administration team on the forum that used the domain previously, but the entire staff was demoted and most of the users were banned when the founder left.SLGray wrote:Are you the founder of the forum?

What happens when you tried to purchase the domain name in the administration panel?

Re: Domain Ownership Issue!
I'll be buying the credits later today - just want to confirm that I will be able to use this domain on otxtest.forumotion.com, and not the forum that it was originally registered on (otrecliner.forumotion.com)?Buttercup wrote:Hello

Re: Domain Ownership Issue!
Hi; I still need a confirmation that I will be able to transfer "otthunderdome.com" to "otxtest.forumotion.com" despite it being originally purchased on "otrecliner.forumotion.com" before I can purchase the credits.
Re: Domain Ownership Issue!
Buttercup will not be back until Monday.
