After you @SlGray just made that post it took you to this page. On my forum it doesn't give the user enough time to choose to return to the forum or to view their post. It waits like 1 second then redirects back to the post they jsut made.

You can over ride the redirect by clicking return to the forum, it just has to be done quickly is all.

Well it works for me most times. Regardless, you might be able to slow down the re direction with the use of some code.

Administration Panel > Display > Templates > General > overall_header Edit
( Must be in founder account /u1 )

Find and remove : {META}

Save and publish. Add

However, this will most likely remove all global redirects.
