Problem with theme export

Hello,
Today I watched that I cant export my theme on my forum. I tried it on a test forum and the problem is the same too.

I am using Mozilla Firefox v39.
The web browser returning an error message which it says it cannot read the source file.

Do you mean like putting it from your forum to hitskin? Do you have a hitskin account? What is the url to your forum ? Do you get any error message when trying to export it? Have you tried from a different browser?

No, i mean that i cant export any theme file from f/m forums acp to a folder on my pc. Web broswers displaying the message that it is says the source of file is not available.

The message is in greek language but I translate the text in english:

"The file c:\.... can not be saved because it is not possible to read the source file.

Please try later or contact with your system administrator"

@Black-Shadow from what I can tell, the problem appears to be with Firefox's recent update. For the moment, if you need to make an urgent export I'd recommend using another browser. In my attempts with Google Chrome the bbtheme file was exported without issue.

You can use this as a temporary solution if you're using the latest version of Firefox for the time being.

I am using mozilla firefox v39.0 on windows 8.1. Is it a bug of mozilla firefox? Have you tried to install the theme after the download with google chrome? Is there a way to contact to mozilla firefox?

As Ape, and myself are experiencing the same problem, I assume it's an issue with the latest version of Firefox. I'm sure the import of the theme will work well, it only appears to be a problem with exporting the theme using Firefox. As I've said, if you use another browser you should be able to export the theme with no problems. You can do this if the need to export your theme is urgent.

The problem has been forwarded to the technicians, so we'll first have to see if they make any progress. Wink
