how to customized links in toolbar, and translation, change the "in a watched topic" link and preview of pm's in notifications??

halloo everyone
I have three questions on how to do 4 different customs of the toolbar.

My first problem: Customized links in toolbar
I want to know how to create your own links and maybe even remove some of the default links in the welcome (username) menu in the toolbar, because some of the links is not that useful for my forum.
and then I would love to be able to create some other links in welcome (username) section, which would fit better for my forum
But of course I have no clue about doing either of those things

My second problem: translation of the notification messages.

I have a danish RPG forum and it is really odd to have the notifications itself written in English, but it is also a problem for the users who cannot read English that well. What I specificly want to change is
"(username) wrote a message in a watched topic"
"(username) tagged you in a topic"
"You have received a private mssage from (username)"

Is there a way I can do that or? because I do know that some things of the forums cannot be translated that easily, but I really hope that there is a solution 'cause it is quite annoying for my danish forum.

Update: Yeah I do know that it is because the staff of forumotion do not speek fluent Danish that they have not come up with a translation.
I just want a css code or java code which can override the part with a customized text (in my case a danish translation)

My third problem: Change the "in a watched topic" and "a topic" in notification.

This one I probably think is tricky to code, but what do I know, i'm not a codeexpert at all.
Is there a way to change the title of the link "in a watched topic" to the title of the topic it is referring to?
For instance if I get a notification that someone has replied in a topic called "new jokes ", is there a way where the notifications message then would be "(username) wrote a message in new jokes" instead of the usually "(username) wrote a message in a watched topic"

And then also the link when someone is tagging you, so for instance if someone  did tag me in new jokes, the notification would rather be
"8username) tagged you in new jokes"

Then it would be so much easier to know what topic has been replied.



My fourth problem: Preview of private messages in notification.


I know that there is a code or someway of doing this because forumotions support forum has this function, when you click on the link in notifications of private message then instead of being thrown to the private messages box, then you get a preview/pop up menu of the private message which is so much easier.
People have told me that there is no solution of this because this code it is only for forumotions support site not public :3 ^^

I know this is a lot of problems and some of them might by tricky, so thanks in advance for even consider helping me!

About your first question, have you checked this thread?
About your second question, I think that the company does not have in its staff a person who speaks Danish fluently. That's why, Danish translations cannot be submitted.

For your fourth question, I believe the support forum uses a custom code, I don't believe Forumotion is ready to give it up yet. Sorry, however, there are similar codes available that could achieve partially this.

I cannot see how the link to the first problem could provide me with help to how I can customize the links in welcome "username" section Maybe I'm just blind

and yeah I know that with the second one, I just want to have a CSS/java code or something which can override and convert it to a customized text which would be danish in my case ^^

ooohhh I see that makes a lot of sense when I couldn't find anything on this in the forumotions support. Well do you know the other codes which could provide something similar?

Nope sadly @brandon_g cannot use that, but it was a good try though It seems interesting, sadly my forum won't have the classic menu ^^

you can yourself try to send a pm to yourself here on help.forumotion.com when you click on "private message" on the notification for the pm, then instead of being moved to your pm folder, a pop-up preview of the message will appear.

I know what you mean, unfortunately the exact code being used on the support forum is not available to us at the moment. That topic above is about the closest we can get for now I afraid. Sorry .

Every guide was a solution for my problems, so thanks!
But I did find it very easiere to just use the "%(topic_name)s" in the translation code for the notifications to show the name of the topic

is this now solved or is it still ongoing ?
