Premium domain name
Hello,
I have a question to forumotion :
When surfing in GoDaddy I show premium domain name, I may ask if a forum administrator pay
1600 credits and when forumotion go to GoDaddy they show it is premium domain name
does they cancel domain name validation or requires 1500 $ from the seller (the money they will pay to GoDaddy.com) to process domain name validation ? [in this example yahooplan.com] ?

A free domain name is like .forumotion.com , etc. A custom domain (or in this case I suppose godaddy calls it 'premium' domains) is one that usuall has the site name and then just .com. Example: www.forumotion.com . that is the domain name for forumotion's website. That is not free and they pay for it and probably renew it every so often.
Forumotion does allow you to register a custom domain via their service using credits, however, the domain can only be used on forumotion forums.
Hope this may help provide better clarity on this,
-Brandon

No. Here's what a 'premium' domain name means on GoDaddy:
What's a premium domain?
Premium Domain Names are more valuable than other domains because they are based on common words or phrases people often use in their online searches.
While GoDaddy does not own these domains names, we are one of a select group of registrars that can introduce you to the sellers.
You cannot acquire this premium domain name through forumotion, as godaddy doesn't own the domain or it is listed at a higher price than usual.
The only domains you can buy through forumotion are the cheapest ones that nobody owns.

premium is the exact opposite of free
Re: Premium domain name
A Premium Domain is a domain name that is already registered and owned by someone or by the registry operator, but is not up for sale. Prices for Premium Domains range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars depending on the specific domain and current market influences.
