Solved buttons for certain categories

Hi again..I found a tutorial for adding the solved and none icons..and after adding them they are on every single forum and category..I would like them just for certain areas..like WCIF section, and other help sections is there a way of just for them or am I either stuck with them in everything or just not add them..

Unfornatelly I don't believe there is a way to limit them to certain sections. They will appear in every section. If they don't need to be used in a particular section, then just leave them ticked at 'none' so they won't appear.

Ok just went to check that out..in a new post they work..but I have need help please in stead of none and they are showing next to like all the topics..and next to locked topic..wish I knew how to take a picture of this to show you..not really explaining it right..for you to understand..and when I click on the need help please next to the locked topics and all the others even unlocked topics that isn't working but very annoying having it there..

Not sure to to get rid of the need help please next to the topics button

Edited: Ok did some more looking around and need help please is just showing under the topic area next to the subject either locked or unlocked no other place..

Now it won't let me delete either one of them..no matter what I do they won't come off..

Ok that isn't going to work..I got rid of them..

Ok I got those to work and in right..now I have another problem..the default is showing up next to those..how do I get rid of that one..I can't delete that like I could the other two..

Let's just make this solved..I was able to get the solved and the need help please icons in the right place but will just have to put in Site Updates not to use them unless in certain areas..and the none or default one is in next to the need help please and solved and it looks tacky but if I put a made icon there it shows in allll the topics..

Anyway let's just solve this..sorry to bother anyone..

Thank you musacafe for trying to help..ya I did everything..been trying to find the tutorial I was looking at when I did those..but can't find it now lol..going back to look for it..they had said something about putting a border around them..but didn't read that far..I figured I would make my own..but I want to finish rereading that tutorial and make sure there wasn't something I had missed..

Ok..I guess I shouldn't have added them..because now I can't get them off..I was able to take the "Need Help Please" and the "Solved" off but when I try and take the "None" off it is saying I can't take the default one off..How in the world do I get that one off??

The reason is on just about ever page it has "None" on it..didn't want it on every page..

I mean what are you using? You need to use something to access the Internet.

If you remove all the topic icons you added, the none one should be removed, too.

Ok This subject has nothing to do with what kind of computer..read the stupid topic..it has to do with getting something off of my website..read the last post after it was opened..omgosh..

It didn't come off Gray..

When I try and take it off it is saying this "You can't remove the default empty icon." I can't even take the None off and the button picture it just won't let me do anything

It had nothing to do with my computer..good grief..I have seen posts on here with cuss words..and NOBODY said anything to them..

I was actually asking for what computer you use to help you with taking a screenshot.

This has nothing to do with my computer..I have tried to take pictures and it isn't letting me..so lets keep to the subject please...I have a link to what I am talking about..and you can see it that way..

I couldn't take the none off but I was able to take the icon off but it is still showing in the Topic's Icon but I did get it to not show up on the forum..would like to get rid of in the Topic's Icon in Admin. but as long as it's not showing up on the forum it's self I am going to worry about it..

Broomhilda, just stay calm as we all are just trying to help you, but everyone needs to respectful to one another, I don't know what the situation was with the cursing in it, but I know whenever I see conflict I do try to de escalaten thats what all staff should do, so thats why SLGray stepped in, because everyone has to respect one another and it is our job as staff to ensure this happens, if we see a such a situation unfolding.

Once again I understand you may be frustated, but that does not give you the right to be disrespectful.
