Category in Tabs question for phpbb2

First topic message reminder :

Hi Forumotioners, I have installed this succesfully on my testforum phpbb2 a while ago from tis topic which is in the Tips & tricks section:

Now I've tried to install this at my official forum, also phpbb2, but it won't work as it's supposed to.
when I activate the script it shows the tabs correctly but it also stretches the page and pushes the rigth side widgets off the screen for the most part and gives me a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the page..

Both forums are phpbb2 and have exactly the same skin, I don't know why this happens or what I can do to make this right.. 
I would love to have this on my official forum because we have so much forums, it would be so helpful to tidy the place up with this awesome script.
For now I have disabled it again because the page looks ugly with that scrollbar and widgets out of sight.

Any help would be much appreciated

Did you install the theme on both forums from Hitskin or just copy the theme? You do know there are 2 themes that are similar? Are you sure that you installed the same theme on both forums?

Yes @SLGray I installed it from Hitskin, at first there was only a version for phpbb3, but on my request the creator made another one for phpbb2 and also uploaded that to Hitskin, so I could easilly import it from there, I made sure I choose the one for phpbb2

Correction:
I installed it from hitskin on my test forum, made it to my liking with different images etc and then exported the whole style and imported that into my official forum..

It is best to install it from Histkin and then modify it on your forum. What do you mean by exported?

On my testforum I imported it from Hitskin, made all the nessecary changes on the pictures and made sure all javascripts were in place and then on ACP/Display/Manage Skins I chose to export the whole style, saved it to my pc and imorted it on my official forum..
But before that I first asked if it was possible to do this on the Dutch helpforum, they assured me that this way no templates are going to be changed nor are the javascripts being affected, so I felt safe to do it this way.. In this manner I didn't had to close my official forum down for maintenance for a long time, people there are depending on it to be able to write things off their minds day and night..
So I hope they didn't informed me wrong?

ok.  It could be that you missed something or deleted something in the export process.

No I haven't read that before.. thank you @SLGray I have changed it as of now from center to the left, but the part of not showing the forum's name I did read before and put the Show title to 'No' already

So could this mean that it could be the problem of the Tabs script exceeding the width limits?

To be honest i think only Ange can help you he is the one who create the code

Maybe you're right @skouliki but he is so busy with other stuff, I don't think he has the time for it

I know I see him regularly posting replies here @SLGray does this mean this topic may stay pending until he see's it?

Well I gave it a try @SLGray I didn't even altered the 'lang' object just kept it exactly as it is written by Ange, but it still gives me the same result.. there are more categories than the forumwidth allows, so there should be scrolling arrows on the left and right sides and it should fit into the forum width, but the arrows are not there and the categories that are exceeding the forum width are still being displayed, making the whole forum wider than the actual limit therefor pushing the right side widgets to the right and alsmost out of sight, giving me a scrollbar at the bottom of the page to be able to see everything that is pushed out of sight.. So I disabled it again..

By now I'm getting the feeling maybe this has something to do with this new skin we're having, because I noticed that the plugins for the codebox and the Select Content button also are not working anymore.. Could it be possible that this new skin uses selectors that are not common for phpBB2 so therefor some things won't work anymore? I noticed something like that before when I was trying to alter some names of the navigation buttons, they didn't respond to the usual way of doing that.. I had to find out in the basic css how to address them which differs from my previous skin, but I thought that could be caused because it has a not so common navigation bar..

Any way I'm lost and don't know what causes this

The one 10spetter10 made for me by request @SLGray He had made a version for Punbb first I believe, so I asked him if he could make one for phpBB2 and he did and uploaded that to Hitskin it's the IPS Dimension skin for phpBB2... So I installed that on my testforum first, made all the adaptions needed to the required pictures etc. in the ACP, CSS and Javascripts and when it all worked like it's supposed to on first glance I exported the whole style and imported that one into my official forum, because I rally like the layout and the navbar of it..
But now after a while of using it I noticed that the Select content button of the Codebox isn't working anymore, neither is the javascript for putting the chatroom onto the toolbar, I see the text Chat on the toolbar with a zero beside it but it's not clickable.. So I disabled that too..

All those things worked fine under my previous skin, so that's why I'm starting to wonder if this skin is causing all those problems?
