Re: Confirmation code problem
I noticed this on my forum and on a friend's forum as well. I think the option was removed when fun captcha(i hope this is how it's written ) was introduced. I personally don't like this new confirmation code. I never looked at it's coding but I think it's not very hard for a bot to pass it and it's also not fun as it's name says. I don't understand why the techs don't simply use google's recaptcha. It's used everywhere, it's easy to do for humans, hard for bots and just better than what we have now.

Re: Confirmation code problem
I see it when I tried to register.
The option has been removed, but the confirmation code in the registration process has remained.

Re: Confirmation code problem
Hello,
What Ape is saying is it is NOT possible to remove the captcha/security code anymore. It used to be possible, however, the option was removed by our tech team.
As such it is no longer possible to remove the captcha/security code anymore.
Sorry, but whatever you want to do with your forum, your just going to have to do it with the captcha/security code there.

On a hunch, I searched some other terms and found this thread. I had just posted another thread about this issue.
https://help.forumotion.com/t153795-turn-off-the-captcha
So, am I to understand that if a potential new user cannot get past this CAPTCHA/Security Code, then that person is just out of luck and can never be a member of our forum? That is not an acceptable solution!

Re: Confirmation code problem
It is not that hard to do, all you have to do is click one of the arrows to move the image then click the button below.
Now if the code is not showing that is another issue.

It is not showing. Which seems to be exactly what is described in this thread.
