Deleted post reappearing.

I posted here on Tuesday with this question. I thought the question had been answered, but things are still not right. Post that I deleted months ago are reappearing on the form. We clear off our forum each year to prepare for the new school year. Each forum has MULTIPLE post from the past (even years ago). I went in Tuesday and started the long process of manually deleting each one. I returned today to find them all back again.

This was what we thought was the problem last time. But I went back in and manually deleted them all again. They are all back again today.

Yes we apologize for the inconvience, our tech team had a small problem with doing the back ups and it took them a little longer to complete then we anticipated. We have been informed that the process is definitely complete this time and deleted posts, categories or members should not return this time.

It says that the deleted post would only reappear from post in the past 2 weeks. I know for a fact that my post are a lot longer than 2 weeks. Some are from years ago.

I have a very very large amount of post to delete. It will take me hours to fix this. It would take me less time to delete my whole forum and start over. Is there a way to delete multiple post at a time in a category?

From what we were told, the furthest they backed it up to was may of this year. That is what our pro admin has told us. I don't know why posts from years ago would re appear unless you deleted them in May or later of this year.

Once again we do apologize for the inconvience, it did not go as smoothly and as quickly as our team hoped it would have.

Edit: Just saw the last part of your post. Yes there is, if you click 'moderate this forum' from here you can simply tick the topics you want to delete and click delete. It is the fastest way to mass delete stuff.

where do I find "moderate this forum". I have never seen that.
