Description of problem

Hello,

Me and my friends recently made a forum. Since ModernBB was new we used that to make our forum. But we've run into some troubles with it. Two of our topics are 'broken', if we post in it the entire topic breaks and we can see nothing but the last message. This is in two topics that I will link below. I'll also attach a screenshot of what happens.
Can this be solved? Users can't enjoy the forum right now because they want to post in that topic but they can't.

Hello can you tell me what device you are using ?

As I have just been on all of your links you have listed that are broken and I don't see this problem at all.

I also do not see any issues with the linked topics.  I am using a PC with Firefox browser.

That's weird. They appear to be okay now. I am using Google Chrome, as are most of my members. Yesterday there were a lot of problems but now there are none! o;

Can you explain more or take a screenshot of the problem? I'm having a hard time understanding exactly what the problem is.

I posted a screenshot of what happens to the topics in the original post, but it seems that this problem only occurs for a little while. Topics break for a couple of minutes and then start working again. But that's really frustrating for my users.
I don't know if this is an issue because I use ModernBB?

It looks fine to me.

Okay, since I seem to be the only one here facing this problem I think we can consider this resolved. I'm going to look into another forum version or something.

Is this happening on all devices and browsers?  Does this happen when you are only logged in?

Also if you are using ModernBB, where did you get your theme?

This is happening on all devices, iPads, mobiles and PC. This happens to logged in and logged out users.

I used the standard theme but modified some code's it to suit my needs. Could that be causing the problem?

can i ask is it just one members post that is doing it?

What i mean is say Joe Blogs posted a new thread then say tom blogs then posted and it went wrong.

or dose it happen to everyone not just members ?

It seems to happen at random topics with different accounts in them. It is happening to everyone but it happens randomly and topics seem to recover after a few hours but then another one breaks..

EDIT: Now this is happening. Everything was well with the topic for 47 pages.

Now I must say that is really strange.

can you try one thing before you do anything else.

Can you turn off any JavaScript you have running and then see if there is a problem.
If the problem is still there then try

Turning off your templates that have been changed and then see if it still shows.

What I am trying to find out is if any change to them 2 tools are going wrong at set times.

I don't have any Javascript running. The only thing that I can think of is that something went wrong when I modified the topic template, the one that shows the messages. I'm going to replace that to the original and see what happens!

you can keep them just turn them off to see if there is any problems and if it's the same then just add them back.

I've had all my code's off and on. But there are still topics broken!

The only thing is on that members other posts in the same topic it does not look messed up.

Nope! That was one of the first things that came to my mind. But that member doesnt has anything in her signature

Did you install the theme?

ok try one more thing in your ACP click on Force the basic CSS: YES then save and then see if you still have the problem.

Forcing the CSS does not solve the problem.
Still no succes!

Did you get the theme from Hitskin? The reason why I ask is that you say it is ModernBB, but I do not see the theme on Hitskin.

No I built my own theme! I've only done modding to the standard theme that comes with it when you install ModernBB. But the fault isn't in the templates I've edited and isn't in the CSS either :c

Dose your member have any codes, link's in their profiles ?

If no then please PM me with your URL and a link to that post with the problem and then i will report it and see what our teah team come up with.

Nope, there are no codes that are clashing with my own. I will send you a PM with the link to my forum. I do not have any problematic topics right now, but I'll send a link to the topic the members report them in!
