My Portal is missing?
The link to the portal seems 'missing'.
I believe i messed something up from the templates or something.
The portal is activated, yes, but the link is not functioning. How can i get the portal back?

Re: My Portal is missing?
Where is the link to the portal on your forum?

Re: My Portal is missing?
I don't understand your question. If I hadthe link to the portal I wouldn't have this issue to begin with.
You mean on my other forum? I don't have the portal activated there yet so I don't know.

Re: My Portal is missing?
That's pretty strange. Make sure you got the portal activated and then go to AP=>Modules=>Portal & Widgets=>Portal management=>Show the portal=>Yes
You have to take into account that you might activated the portal, but if for some reason the "Show the portal" option is set on "No" it won't be visible anyway.

Re: My Portal is missing?
Okay, so basically it's as you said, it seems I had forgot to click 'Show portal' button; however, now I'm up with the same problem - this time with the Index page.
Clicking on Index/Forum isn't redirecting me where I want to go, it's simply redirecting me to the same portal page.

Re: My Portal is missing?
When you turn on your portal, the page automatically redirecs to your portal page.
To change that go to ACP=>Display=>Homepage=>Generalities=>Your forum redirects to=>The forum index
If you wanna make the portal your main page but still you wanna have a link to access the forum itself, you can add "/forum" at the end of the URL.
For example, here i'd be: help.forumotion.com/forum

Re: My Portal is missing?
I made the Index my main page, now the portal wouldn't show up .-.
Both 'Index' and 'Portal' links are the same, which is: http://daskintest.forumarabia.com/
How do give each a distinct URL?

Re: My Portal is missing?
Visiting your forum in the first post, I do not see a link for the portal or index.

Re: My Portal is missing?
Hello,
Usually the.portal will have a navigation button appear when you activate it, however, if you use a custom navigation bar (image based nav bar), then it might appear if you don't have an image for the portal added.
You can still access the portal anytime by adding /portal to the end of your forum url.
That said, this is the link to your portal: http://daskintest.forumarabia.com/portal

Re: My Portal is missing?
Now it makes sense, the portal had only '/' instead of '/portal' in the templates.
Solved.
Thanks.
