Spammer verification popup/notification
Help please,
I have a members that can't see a button to verify that they aren't a spammer so she can't post to the forum. There's a "save" button but, that doesn't work.
Here's a screenshot of the notice she receives.
She is on staff and helps me run the forum. I do need her to be able to post.
Forum Name: Taggers Realm.

Any and all help would be much appreciated.

Re: Spammer verification popup/notification
Hello
In my experience, your member might need to slightly change their name.
The reason behind this is anti spam mode might recognise the name as a commonly used spammer name. I had to do this for my joint-admin Molly, I changed it to 1welshmolly and it worked.

Thanks Cassini for telling me of your experience with this issue.
My member has been with me for a very long time and is just getting this notification. Makes no scene to me.
I'll wait to hear from a support member for better options.
Thanks again Cassini.

Re: Spammer verification popup/notification
Hello I have not seen this my self but it has been reported before.
It could be one of 2 things.
When a member logs on your forum and post really fast sometimes our system things it's a bot or spammer.
Ask your member have they got this as soon as they come in the forum or was it after posting lots today and yesterday?
The other reason this can show is if they have been trying to log in lots of times in the day and got the password wrong lots of times.

Re: Spammer verification popup/notification
She has not done any of the things you ask about.
She can PM me, sign in but she can't make a post without the message coming up. She can not verify that she is not a spammer because there is no verification button to click on.

Re: Spammer verification popup/notification
Any extension i.e Ads Block may hide that function, im not sure. Try to resync her account by Admin Control Panel -> General -> Config -> Sync. user -> Input username, then resync your forum.
Re: Spammer verification popup/notification
ok give this a try change the user name in the ACP then Sync your forum.
Then get your member to clear her browser cache then try and log in using the new username.
If they can get in ok than you can change the username back to what it was then get them to try logging back in again.
If your member still can't get in after that i will Email my head office and report this to them.
