 Christmas Competition: The best banner

Hello dear Forumotion members,

I am pleased to announce to you our latest contest for the Christmas holidays. The contest will be a banner contest and with this, you all get a chance on winning credits for your forum.

Rules of the competition

Each member is allowed to participate with only one entry.
The banner must have a Christmas theme to it.
You need to create a banner for the English Support Forum.
The banner must have dimensions 865x201px.
The banner must contain the texts "Forum of the Forums" & "Official Support Forum of Forumotion".
The banner must fit the header of the Support Forum (you have to use as background color #369FCF or transparent).
The banner must be in English only!
Staff members can't enter this contest.
You can not take part in any other contest on other support forums.
All entries must be unique and not copied or taken from anywhere else.
The winners will be declared by a vote between the Staff members of the English Support Forum.
Deadline for your entries: Monday - 18th of December.

The prizes

First Place: 1000 credits
Second Place: 500 credits
Third Place: 100 credits

The winner’s banner will be added to the support forum, when votes are counted and credits will be given, when we have all the winners forum addresses sent by PM to APE.

Hello @Houston,

The only thing you need to do, is create a Christmas Themed Banner for the Support Here and post it to this topic and you automatically enter the competition on winning the credits given to the announcement. Wink

@Houston, please create your own banner, don't just take an image from the web and add text to it.

I have tried so hard to get the gif's to work in Photoshop..but once in there they just stop working..so had to go another route here is my Banner entry..

Please, do not feel bitter! I have seen every banner you have submitted every single year and I have seen improvement each time! You are getting there and I promise with time and effort and lots of practice, you will reach your artistic goals! I believe in you and so does everyone that votes in the contests like these!

Like Leah said, your getting better each time, as far as a the GIF files go that take more time to learn since it is somewhat tricky to do, I know i had a hard time getting the grasp of it, till today i'm still fiddling with it.

Oh, JerriLeah7..I'm not bitter lol..I have enjoyed participating and for now I feel it's all about learning not winning..

There are other contests that I join in..on another site..it's recoloring and designing rooms..for Sims..and omgosh I am just learning how to recolor this year and designing rooms for me is not easy..and I am in awe of people that can do these things..so far I haven't won any of those contests either lol..but I will someday..in the mean time it's for learning and for fun..but the people that do join in on the contests..they have been recoloring and designing rooms since the beginning of the Sims back in 2000 or so when it first came out..I have just started playing them in 2008..so I also feel privileged to be able to join in these contests with them..

So don't feel bad for me..I am having fun and that is what really counts..but winning helps to Mr. Green
