Description of problem
Hi. I need help please and thank-you. I have been trying to make backgrounds in my group to add to Paulines Backgrounds board. I am using the correct code for it cause I make them all the time in another Forumotion group I am in and they go through perfectly. So, I don't know what is happening or if some buttons is missing or if I don't have it set up right. This is all new to me and want so much to get it up and going. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank-you.Pauline

Yeah, it's not clear what you're talking about. Please provide specific example and/or screenshots.
Hi
Hi. I don't know how to do a screenshot but here is the background code that I made a Valentines Day background with in another group I am in. I can't get it to work in my group.
- Code:
<table background="https://s20.postimg.org/4sc2jr28d/th_red5.gif" border="0" cellpadding="5" width="100%"><tr><td width="100%" align="center"><table background="https://s20.postimg.org/p5n9pm5jh/canvas121.png" border="0" cellpadding="50" width="100%"><tr><td width="100%" align="center"><table background="https://s20.postimg.org/4sc2jr28d/th_red5.gif" border="0" cellpadding="5" width="100%" ><tr><td width="100%" align="center"><table background="" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0" cellpadding="10" width="100%"><tr><td width="100%" align="center">

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
Hi. Yes. I post the background code in the New Topic or Reply box and when I click on the Send button it's supposed to go through for you to see the background. But it doesn't go through. Only the code shows up there. I'm wondering if some buttons is supposed to be there or not set up right. I also see on the bottom of my page in my group it says Locked Forum. Could that be the problem?

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
Do you mean you see this ?
if yes that don't mean your forum is locked that is a set of icons that tell you about what iconsa are used on the main forum it's self it has nothing to do with your problem.
No for your code.
When making a forum you get to pick 4 basic versions Now your forum as far as i can tell is Phpbb2 Now the codes are NOT the same so if your friends forum is phpbb3 then the code you used on your forum will not work.
Maybe you can send us a link to your friends forum and a post made on that forum that shows us what you mean.
Right now we are a little mixed up on what you mean about posting the codes and the backgrounds.

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
To turn the HTML on for all your forum you have to do this your self on your ACP
To do this follow this step.
ACP >> General tab >> Messages and e-mails >> Configuration >> Allow HTML : YES
Save.

Hi. No, I don't want it to appear as a signature but a background. Here is the link to the Forumotion group I am in and where I make my backgrounds. You should be able to see them and know what I mean.

what the member is saying that when you make a new thread on a forum you just copy and paste the code in a thread/ post and then press send then the code turns in to a table with a background on it like glitter

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
Hi Ape. Sorry but that isn't supposed to look like that but that's what I got too. If you look at the link to the Forumotion group I am in, you will see my many backgrounds I made there and they came out right, but it won't in my group for some reason. Just check them out at the link in my last post and you will see what I mean and how they are supposed to look.

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
Hi Ape. I did like you said but it still won't work. I guess I am no good at changing the code. I just don't know anymore. I don't know why everything I do is a failure. I am so disappointed with myself.

Re: Can't Post Background Code In My Group
Hi SLGray. I don't know is I have javascripts that deal with posts or not. This is all new to me and I don't understand it. So would everything stay in my group like it is there now if I change it to phpbb2 instead of phpbb3. I'm not sure how to do it. What if something happens and I do something wrong. Would I loose my group.
