What happens to deleted pms in your savebox?

I got a pm and then accidentally quickly put it in my savebox and tried to delete it from there, and it also deleted it from my inbox as well. Is there any way to tell me what is going on and why this happens?

When you move something from your inbox to your savebox, it takes out of the savebox and puts it in the save box. The pm stays in the save box unless you delete it.

inbox. I didn't know I did that. Could you re-forward that reply? My inbox is 9% full and my sentbox is 10% full. If both could hold up to 100 pms, they both should be 10% full.

I dont know what reply you mean? The percentages are computer approximates, its not always exact.

One was inadvertently deleted, the one that said, "no, not it." That's why there's only one less. That's the reply I mean, and I counted.

It is really no big deal, your ticket is submitted now, I will update you in your other topic.

I was trying to read it and ask you to send it back, but then I sent you a response that solved the problem. I guess you ignored and skipped past it.

I dont see why I would need to re send that reply, since your ticket is now open.

Well, we just respond to problems too quickly on this forum.

When you delete a post on your PM system it is gone forever no matter where it is.

There is no way to get the pm back.

I was trying to get it back to the inbox. Is there a way to reforward it? Is it still in the inbox once it's sent to the save folder? Is there any way to move it out of the save folder without deleting it? Can brandon_g reforward or resend me the message to the first response about my old hotmail account?

Once something is in your savebox it can not be moved back to the inbox, it can only be deleted. Now if you want me to re send a pm, pm me with which one cause we had quite a few, however, it is not really important now as a ticket on your issue is already created and pending .

I thought you replied in the pm you could. What's the savebox for?

The save box is for things important you want to save. Such as if you are in staff and they give you an important update you don't want to lose, you move it to your save box. Think of it as a safe you would put money or an object in. You put it there to be saved until it is needed again. Inbox is just a landing box for all incoming messages. Once you delete something from your save box, it is gone forever. So it is only there for people to use if they really want. Not a service impacting feature. Just there for your own use. Use it or don't, it is there simply for you to use it if you want. But it is just a special inbox to hold messages you don't want in your inbox to be possibly deleted.

I didn't actually select anything to go into my savebox. I meant to click away from the pm because I was afraid I'd make another mistake.

What is your overall issue then? So I have a clearer understanding.

I had to get asked a lot of questions just to prove that I was the founder of latiaswebs. I am the founder. But when I tried to guess that I was jon, I get told that I'm incorrect and I am shaken by this and try to look for other ways. I click a button without even reading it, and I read the pm. Then there's no way for me to undo what I just did. I'm just trying to sign back onto my forum to change the setting for all members. No new members can register a new account, and the last user hasn't been on since June 16, 2014. I was reading some false litigations about my forum, about my forum posted porn when it didn't. I don't name names in public though. That's when I got the pm and was told I was wrong and I just wanted to read it and get back to it, hoping I blew my chance.

Now as for this issue you cant retrieve that old pm, it is deleted. I think that answers this question. May we consider this solved?

Well as Brandon stated, a ticket was submitted on the matter. Your best bet is to let the staff deal with it and reach out to you regarding it. But if a PM was deleted, whether it be on accident or on purpose, it is gone for good. No way to get that PM back.

EDIT: Didn't realize Brandon responded. This can get deleted if needed.

So in this topic, your issue is about PM's on the support forum?  If it has been solved then you need to use the other topic about your other issue (login issue).

And you guys will have so many more issues once I'm done with you.

We are all here to help and we are trying to get things moving along for you but if you are having login issues, you just need to go to the right topic and follow its instructions as SLGray has stated. We don't mean to make anything difficult but all the staff and users here are only here and helping as volunteers. We aren't makers of the software, we only help support it in our own free time. But if this is regarding your PM's, as we stated, once deleted, it is gone. Brandon opened a ticket so your best bet is to let them handle it and they will contact you when a resolution is presented. If it is login related, you can go to the proper topic and get help there. If there is anything else we can do, just let us know.

This thread is going Nowhere you are just gonna be told the same thing.
If you deleted a PM from a staff member on this support forum then we can not get it back for you.

"END OF" as for your forum well you are the founder of that forum and when your Email address has been changed by our head office then you can deal with your own problems your end.

You forum will still be there tomorrow.

There is really no point in posting in lots of threads when nothing can be done until at least tomorrow morning.
Brandon_g has made a ticket and it will be looked at as soon as some one has time.

As for your warning about a problem you have told us your forum has had no one in for over 7 years so one more day will not hurt Rome was not built in a day and the earth took 7 days so we are told. So just chill

Is it possible for a forum to miss someone for one or two more days when no one knows how long they've been gone since 2010?
