vgchat.forumotion was hacked

Description of problem

I tried to go on vgchat.forumotion today and it turns out it's all different. All the members are gone and there's only a few forums left and the layout has all changed. I was a moderator of that forum too. I believe the forum was hacked today. I'm not sure. I was on it yesterday or earlier today and it was working fine, up until around a few minutes ago when I found out. Can someone really check to see if that's going on?

Forumotion has not changed the address of this forum for pleasure, it is a necessity related to the fact that the domain name will not be renewed. It will expire on 17 March 2018, and therefore it will be technically impossible for Forumotion to continue this redirection.

Why is it expiring?

It is like all domain names.  They expire.

But forumotion.net doesn't?

Because the main office will renew it.

we have hundreds of domain names on our servers that cost a lot of money to keep open.

Our head office has chose to remove the less used ones and put them on our other much more used domain names so we can remove the ones costing us money and not used so much.

Yes we understand this may upset members but it's for the best so we can continue to give you the service and still be free to you all.

in this screen shot of the forum you have way more then one member see in yellow you have 433 members on the forum

To let your members / friends know about the change of address you only have to make a post on the forum and tag your friends on it or send a PM to you friends to change the address if they have it bookmarked on the browsers.

It is as easy as that.

That's because I just found out it was a different forum.

It doesn't show up in their emails.

If you use social media, just post Tweets, Facebook posts, etc. about the change.

No I don't. I'm the only few people who doesn't.
