vgchat.forumotion was hacked

Description of problem

I tried to go on vgchat.forumotion today and it turns out it's all different. All the members are gone and there's only a few forums left and the layout has all changed. I was a moderator of that forum too. I believe the forum was hacked today. I'm not sure. I was on it yesterday or earlier today and it was working fine, up until around a few minutes ago when I found out. Can someone really check to see if that's going on?

All I can says is no one access the founder account since 2012.

That's Karnine as Nape. However it wasn't necessarily a problem with my laptop because the other account was clearly working. It was happening here too and I didn't need a virus scan run. Karnine was the final member who joined. This has nothing to do with what happened with this forum this morning.

THAT WAS THE LINK. YOU'RE MISSING THE WHOLE POINT. THAT'S WHY I SAY THE FORUM WAS HACKED.

No, you said because members were gone, and the forum was changed, not because of the link.

I can confirm that it was not hacked. The main office is doing away with some creation domain names. If the forum used one of these domain names, it will be redirected to one that is still supported.

You're not really making any sense then. Those two posts are contradictory. Prove that the members are not gone. I only see one and I was coming on that page this morning. With the rpg URL.

The main office is doing away with this domain name: power-rpg.com. So any forum that has that extension will be redirected to one that is still supported like forumotion.com.

Then where does the real forum go? Does it get closed down?

Why are they doing this? That was my favorite forum with all my favorite friends on there. I'd give the world for anything for them.

So you didn't find out or tell me this stuff when I first made the thread? You just kind of had me guessing. I hope I will get modded for this because I put all my time and effort into making sure the forum was ok even though there's no one on but myself. I try to look after it.

The person who I thought was the hacker of this forum? Well how will my friends know that the link has been changed? I can't always be on the forum without them. They are my bread and butter, and I'd give the world to make sure they can sign on again when they want.

Darn, a lot of these problems just happen when they're not there.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were.

To make it easier for other members, we have redirected the old address (vgchat.power-rpg.com) to the new one (vgchat.forumotion.net). Wink

This redirection will work until the 2018-03-17, so it would be a good idea for the admin to send a newsletter.

Why does it have to have a time limit? The admin may not sign in in that amount of time either and there's very few of them.
