Credits problem
I have a forum at http://golfers.africamotion.net.
I wanted to buy 1000 credits to upgrade the forum but became a bit confused with packages etc.
I think I bought the same package 3 time as almost $20 were debited in my paypal account.
I really don't know what's going on.
Please advise

Hello I will be happy to try and help you on this matter.
Can I ask was you trying to pay a month at a time or a yearly pack?

Re: Credits problem
Okay thank you.
okay how it works is you have to use paypal monthly setup it's not run by the credits system on your forum.
what we do is set up a monthly payment plan with you and Paypal then your account will pay us each month to keep that pack.
How did you pay for your credits ?
only a yearly plan can use your ACP credits

Re: Credits problem
Have you contacted PayPal and asked them about the charges?

Re: Credits problem
They said that I must contact the company that debited my account. Agestra
I am not disputing the charges as I might have made the mistake of clicking 3 times on the purchase option.
All I wanted was 1000 credits so I ended with 1300 credits and 3 debits lol. If the mistake is on my side, I apologize.

Re: Credits problem
Hello,
You should read the Forumotion TOS. Especially the "Refund policy" part.
Also, in case it helps, Forumotion released a tutorial about packages that you might find useful.

Re: Credits problem
So you wanted to purchase a package with the monthly payment option, and you purchased credits using PayPal?
First Thing: You can only use forum credits in te yearly payment option. The monthly payment option goes through your PayPal account that is why you have to had one.
Second Thing: Read the post above mine.

Re: Credits problem
That's why then for the month one you need to do it the top one number 1
The bottom one is for a yearly system only.

Re: Credits problem
Hello @OldCroc
There is no problem in the actions you did and you didn't buy the same package 3 times either! Let me explain.
You started by adding 1000 credits on your forum for which you paid $12.60 at once using PayPal. until now nothing abnormal.
You then subscribed to a monthly advanced package via PayPal. For that, a recurring payment was set up for 360 credits = $4.50 that you had to pay every month which explains the payment made on Apr 30, 2018 8:23 pm
Nevertheless, a few minutes later, you decided to remove the ads from your forum and also monthlyized the payment for this removal. PayPal not being able to modify a payment previously validated, it thus cancelled your 1st payment and Forumotion refunded you the 360 credits already debited for the activation of your 1st advanced package without ads.
Then, thereafter, a new monthlyization for an advanced package with ads removal was set up for a monthly payment of 520 credits from where the debit of $6.50. This last debit being the only monthly debit currently in place on your forum and which will be renewed every month
Hopefully it's clearer for you as well
