Description of problem
So, a couple weeks ago the domain name for my forum expired. Due to various things going on in my life currently I didn't have the money to renew my forum until now. However, now that it's expired it is currently not available.I don't think anyone is using the domain name currently because it's not like my forum was extremely popular or anything, so I think it's just taking a while to be back on the market. I don't know if you guys specifically handle this kind of situation, but I do have the credits now to renew the domain. So if possible I would like to renew my old domain name.
Here is the current domain name: http://the-spritas.forumotion.com/
Expired domain name: http://thespritas.com
I apologize in advance for any inconveniences.
Re: Renewal of expired domain name
To buy your domain name you now have to read the following threads
Now if your domain name has run out already like you say then it can take up to 60 days to get your domain name open to the public again.
I have asked our head office if the domain name is still with us or if it's gone back.
I will let you know what the outcome is on this.
Also please note that you now have to buy a Advanced package before buying your domain name

Re: Renewal of expired domain name
Ah yes sorry I should have mentioned that I have gotten the premium package.
And yes that domain did completely run out since I didn't have the money at the time to renew it.
Thank you.

Re: Renewal of expired domain name
Hello,
Even if apparently the domain name is not used by anyone, someone might actually have bought it, but for some reason (call it X or Y) they didn't add things to the webpage and therefore the page shows white (as it seems like happened with your case). However, you can wait until the domain expires and then buy it.
Forumotion can't do anything to recover it because if someone else has bought the domain name it's out of Forumotion's hands to do something .
Best regards.

Re: Renewal of expired domain name
Yeah I have considered that as a possibility. Hopefully that's not the case but I figured since it just expired a couple weeks ago it might still not be released to the public yet. So more or less I was hoping I could get the domain back before it was released to the public again lol but I understand if that's not possible, especially if someone has gotten it already.
Re: Renewal of expired domain name
Unfortunately there's nothing to do if someone else has bought the domain. I'm sorry but that's the correct and right answer I have to give you.
You can, of course, choose to buy a new domain name if you want it Please take into account the links @APE gave to you in the first place to make sure you are concerned about everything you need to know:
Best regards.

Re: Renewal of expired domain name
Hello @Rapidfir3Pho3nix,
Your domain expired on April 26, you unfortunately took too long to renew it, and it is no longer available for the moment. We no longer have control over this domain name. You have to wait for it to fall back into the public domain.
Regards,
Shadow
