Account Deleted

Hi guys,

I made an account on here around a week ago, and created around 4 or 5 topics asking for help on different subjects regarding forum design and CSS code etc. Today I tried to log into my account and it said my password was wrong or the username is inactive. I then tried to reset my password, to which it said that my email address isn't associated with that account anymore.

I went to a few of the topics I made (I had them bookmarked), and my OP was deleted off that topic, but the other very helpful responses that fixed my problems remained. I found the topics themselves in the forum, and it said it was created by "Guest"

I decided to try to see if I could re-register my account using the same username and email as I did for the original account; I was able to and am now using it to type this topic.

I am just wondering what the reason for my account being deleted was; so I can avoid doing whatever it was that merited the abrupt deletion. I received no emails, warnings, or otherwise notifications about why my account was deleted. Was I hacked and manually deleted? Was it due to a ToS violation or rules on this thread? All I've done is search for answers to my questions, and when not found, I made my own topic and thanked those who helped me, so I am genuinely confused.

I also reached out to the facebook page for help but haven't received any word yet.

Are you certain you didn't delete it? We don't delete accounts on the support forum unless you explicit ask of us to.

@brandon_g yes I definitely didn't ask for my account to be deleted, as there is still a topic I created that I haven't yet fully resolved. I also didn't receive any emails to verify I asked to delete my account.

My password for my original account here was different than my password for my actual email address, so I don't think the email to verify the deletion could have been deleted

I'm not mad at losing the account's posts or anything. Just wondered what exactly happened to it. And if it was a potential hacker or for a ToS violation I was unaware of, so I could avoid having it deleted again.

Hello @AnyColor I remember you posting in Facebook last week I was the one that activated your forum account here if you remember.

I have looked over our systems and found when I done your account but I can't find any info about your account getting deleted so I am not sure why the account is now gone .

All I can do is say sorry your account went missing.
