New Register user getting in without permission

Description of problem

I like to know how a new register user can get in without an admin allowing them to get it?
Our forum is set for only admins to let a new user to join.
Today this is the second time this has happened. How is someone
getting into the forum without an admin letting them in?

Hi,

The setting to auto activate for users registering with Topic it might still be set to yes.

To check and change this, go to ACP (Admin panel)-->Modules-->Topic it configuration--> Towards ths bottom find 'Automatically activates Topic'it Connect users : ' , if set to yes, tick to no and save and this should hopefully the problem for you.

Well you were right it was ticked on yes. I changed it. Thank you very
much for help Brandon. I will click solved. If anymore issues continue in the future
