Solved Upgrading forum package

Post by frontier gander January 11th 2019, 5:44 pm

Guys, my forums package must be renewed in may. If I pay for the Premium package NOW, will I be ok until next year, or just until this may? That is a lot to spend if it does not update and carry me over into next year.

Hello @frontier gander,

Whenever you decide to purchase a package, the package lifetime span is one year from the day you buy the package. Example, if you buy a Premium package now, the package will expire next year on January 11th. Now because you already have a package purchased, the premium package, if you buy it now, it will start counting upon the expiry of your previous package. If you now activate your Premium package now, you will be given back the time left of the advanced package as credits that will be removed from the original price of the premium package you want.

Regards.

So you want to purchase the premium package, and you right now have the advanced package?

Yes that is correct. I have the advanced package right now that expires in may. But would like to upgrade to the premium so i can send news letters with links and pictures, plus the other added stuff it comes with.

Hi,

I believe you can simply go to the packages page and upgrade the plan simply by purchasing the premium one. The system will give a credit refund for any of the existing services you havent yet finished using (ssl certificate, ads, etc) and deduct that amount from the final price you will end up paying. I would just buy it in the admin panel like you would if you had no package and you will be refunded the credits for the stuff you still had time left for, so you won't have to worry about paying twice for anything.
