Upgrading Forum To A Paid Site
Hello
I have decided to upgrade my two forums to paid sites, not sure I am doing the right thing but will give it a go
Has anybody else upgraded
I would like to see some replies either good or bad comments

Re: Upgrading Forum To A Paid Site
I upgraded my site to premium the minute the packages were live since I already was using paid features before the switch. I like them.

Re: Upgrading Forum To A Paid Site
As you know i use the package system and i think it has it's good and bad things.
Pro's
the good thing is you can update your forums security with the HTTPS address it makes your forum much more safe to your users but then again our system is safe anyway so you can make the choice if you want it use it or not.
The other great thing is you get more News letters if you use then that is.
The chance to remove ad's (with a small cost but this can be added right away when you pay for the upgrade )
The chance to get your own domain with a small cost more (after the pack is paid for.)
Con's
It would be nice if the domain name come in with a package or you could have a drop down like you do with removing ad's that you can pay all in one and not separately.
that is the only thing i can think of i don't like about this system.
other then that i think it's good for your forum and everyone has there own mind and some will like it some will not.

Re: Upgrading Forum To A Paid Site
I use the premium package on my most popular forum. I like the options especially the advanced/extended search one.

Thanks for the above comments
Unfortuately I had to cancel the upgrades due to suspicious activity relating to my Pay Pal account.
Can my two forums revert back to free please until Pay Pay investigates
