Description of problem

"Lockwood publishing" is making fool every where I create a blog, website or forum. They fake claim copyright of my tools which I built. They just don't review the report when google / youtube never removed my tools. "forumotion.com" did not even told me where i posted copyright? I'm very sad my other forum here is almost 5 years old.

Forumotion just tells you what the violations are.  It is up to you to remove any violations.

But I don't have a copyright in my forum. All software are created by me and I'm the legal owner. Anything else "I recommended to download" is to download from their publisher's website. This makes no sense! How do I know which post is copyright? I have only 3+1+1=5 post by myself!

I thought other forum are running from 5-9 years even tho those software are no more working. But I am unlucky I got too many haters. And they made you fool!

Do you have any images that could be copyrighted, or did you use something in your downloads that is copyrighted?

Are you using the default toolbar?  If yes, did you use credits to modify Forumotion's copyright?

Everyone who creates a forum have to read the Terms of Service and know what is on their forums.

There is nothing written about copyright. and my cpanel says "Forumotion copyrights are activated for your forum." "Want to remove Forumotion copyrights from your forum?"

Since you said that you have not added any coding to your forum,  did someone else do it?  There is something that you have added that has removed a link to Forumotion in the toolbar which can only be modified after you used credits to purchase a package.

in your CSS files you would have a code that starts off something like this

See if you have any codes installed that look like that and then remove it.

that will put back your copyright part on your toolbar.

next you need to go over all the images on your forum that may have a copyright on them if you get anything from other sites you need to make sure you see if it has a copyright on them and if your not sure if it dose or not you should not use it.

If you are using a link to other sites you must always ask them if it's ok as they may not like other data posted from their site.

my advice is to remove anything that you think maybe the problem then after the date shown on the ACP is over our team will look at your forum again to see if it's gone.

It is down to you the founder of the forum to make sure nothing is copyrighted when posted on your forum.

you are addressing the wrong people! it is not with us that you should exchange about this problem but with the person who declared the dispute against you. filing yourself a dispute against your forum is not at all a solution either...!

I remind you that disputes remain declarative and we do not take part in the problem. if you think you have nothing to reproach yourself for, you have nothing to fear for your forum. but in any case, it is with the complainant that you will have to exchange from your admin panel > Misc > Support > Litigations > Your litigations status.

Forumotion only gives you a warning so that you can take action because it is our legal obligation. This cannot mean that the complaint is admissible and it is not our responsibility to judge it.
