Description of problem

Hello and i am terribly sorry if that kind of topic exists (i didn't find something mutual).

About some days ago i entered control panel and in the Other section i had a message that someone commented to my site. The comment was about that he or she couldn't register in but sended as a comment of abuse detection (i am not pretty sure how is it in English cause i have it in Greek) and just said that couldn't get in nothing bad about the site just couldn't find where to send it. Anyway the thing i am asking is:
1) Do i have any problem having one or more issues like that and transfer them as completed?
2) Do i have to delete them and if i have to how can i do it?
3) And last question is it possible to prevent that kind of comment to my site?
I think it was a report comment to the site if that helps.

Thank you anyway and sorry for the long topic.

Do you mean report an abuse report?

Hi,

It is not possible to completely disable those messages. You can make it very difficult for a non-technical person to send one. Those messages come from the report an abuse page. You can't delete them but you can safely move them. This messages are generally used to handle copyright issues(forum X stole Y from forum Z). What you should do depends on what the message actually says.

Quiet, no problem taking it to topics discussed, it's just an abuse report that you'll only see as admin,Forumotion will not have notice of this as it is not a dispute.

the message says that the member when he/she login, he/she cannot access (read or write) in any of the forum categories

did you ban this account or do you have some category restrictions for the members?

perhaps he/she couldn't send you a pm and since he/she couldn't post either, this was the only way to communicate with you (the admin)

We have some restrictions but we have open to send pm to administrators and also have an e-mail which is visible to send us there if anything is wrong. But this person didn't understand it and that why he/she wrote a report. Okay i was worried if that affects the site. If i am okay have it just in completed action it's ok.

Thank you so much for replying!
