Email error
Hello
I am seeing several new users that are waiting for me to activate their account, with this message.
I have never seen that message before. What is causing this?
Thank you.

Re: Email error
I'm not sure how I am suppose to determine if the emails are valid. There are various emails, hotmail, yahoo, outlook. Anyone that joined after Sept 17th is not receiving a welcome letter.
I am seeing this message under their email address after viewing their profile. I am receiving emails confirming they joined. They are waiting for my activation.
AP - Users Groups - Inactive Users - Choose a user - and this is what I see. I removed the username and part of the email address in this screen shot.

Re: Email error
Have you tried sending an email to one of the email address that has this message? I mean using your emial, not from the forum.

Re: Email error
@SLGray Yes I have sent emails, and they didn't bounce back.
I switched AP - Users and Groups - User Options - from Admin to No Activation and the message disappears.

Re: Email error
It is because members will not have to click a link in an email.

Re: Email error
it looks like the members maybe using email addresses that is no longer working or is not real.
our system needs to have a real Email address to let the account have a link.
My advice is to Email the member and ask them to reply to see if it's real or not if they get the email then we can look in to why this is giving you problems.

Re: Email error
I don't see how 10-20 different new members joining various times and days could all be fake.
I changed the setting to no Activation and everyone is receiving the welcome letters now and they started posting with no problems.
I will keep an eye on it, maybe change it back to Admin but I think there is an issue somewhere.
Topic solved. Thanks for the help.
