How are you uploading it: in the editor (host an image) or as an attachment?

when you Upload the items are you making any change to the size of the item ?
I ask this as if you resize the item you can not do so as the file will change.

Hello,
If your original .gif file is bigger than 1 mo, Servimg will "optimize" it before upload. Same thing for .jpg and .png files bigger than 768k
Several options to solve that issue.
- Upgrade Servimg to Servimg PRO
- Optimize yourself your pictures before uploading them
- Use another image hoster

Re: Images uploading as a JPG when they are a GIF
So the problem is the image host "servimg" who doesn't accept image bigger than 1M.
If I have the option to use another host who accept bigger images how does it works as I don't see this option when I go upload the image?!?
Thank you.
