Solved Sending emails

Hi all.

I recently sent out a newsletter to all 200 members of my site. It then became apparent that not all members had received it so I decided to send it to each members email on an individual basis. I got upon to member number 98 but the got the message that I could not send anymore at this time and to try again later. That was two days ago and despite trying several more time, I am still not able to send any more.

Can someone help please?

Hello,

You have a limit on sending newsletters based on the package your forum is currently on.

Regards,
TC.

Hello yes we also have a limit on Emails as well Sad how the system works is each Email is sent to the same servers as the news letters. The server then sends the Email's and news letters in batches.

The system can get a little lagged up at times so it then sends out less until the server is not so full then gets set back to the limit.

The best way is by news letters BUT your members have to have it set in their profiles to allow news letters.

By Default this is set to No when the account is made that is why some of your members have not got the News letter.

I did make a change to my forum settings on the Templates to set it to YES by Default But then we had a update on our servers and this Stopped working so now every ones is set back to NO again.

Make a topic on your forum asking your members to make sure they go in their profiles and get them to change it again. Not forgetting to save the change then try again Wink
