Description of problem
I attempted to post new photos on my forum. My preferred image host is Imageshack. Although all of the images are working properly and are not hidden, they are being redirected through a 2img.net link modification, and that has broken the images. On all of the previous images that had been routed through 2img.net, there are no issues. It only occurs with new images. I tried with both Photobucket and Imgur as well. Photobucket viewing is enabled on the forum. Photobucket was redirected through 2img.net and was broken, but the Imgur link was not. I had another member use their image host of choice, Imgbox, and it, too, was not redirected. The 2img part seems to be the issue. In the screenshot, you can see the previewed images and how the site changes the links after being posted.Last edited by Tsubine on July 23rd 2020, 8:31 am; edited 1 time in total

Is the screenshot of your forum? I asked because it does not look like your forum.

It is a screenshot of my forum, yes. I took it from the message preview. Here is an expanded view.

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
I was attempting to post that in the Character Lists board. I did not post it, as it was redirecting the images and breaking them. I have re-posted it in the Communication section in the topic titled "Image Test," completed with code.
Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
The images themselves are broken/removed/deleted.
- Code:

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
That's the problem. When I initially put in the image link, it does not have this: https://2img.net/h/
As soon as it is posted, that gets added to the image link, breaking the link.

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
Wait a minute, this images are hosted by Photbucklet, correct?

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
I have enabled the Photobucket setting in the admin panel, so that Photobucket images are not disabled. In fact, other images on the forum are hosted by Photobucket with no problem. That does not explain why Imageshack is being redirected the same way.
Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
It would be best to just host the images with the host an image button in the editor.

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
A fix was sent earlier but there is cache on these images. If you browse as is, you will continue to see the problem for a few hours, but if you do a CTRL + F5, the images will be there.
The problem was general so several forums are unfortunately affected. The origin being an error on our part following a DNS change.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Re: Images are being redirected to broken links
Yes it is. I've not tested all of my new images, but so far so good.
