Litigation
Litigations
Here you can see the status of your litigations. You can answer them, but only the person who sent it can close it. Annoying bad option
Admins should be able to close it not person if they handled it themselves it's very annoying to have a forever open issue that's been resolved by you the founder or a staff member an that person that made it never close it. Even if is a ticket still admins should have the power to close it on there site if it been resolved but reply an close if it more then a month old because some user never return to your forum.

Re: Litigation
Hello,
Are you talking about report and abuse or litigation reports? Because they are totally different things. Report an abuse goes to the admin panel and you can archive those. Litigation goes to both you and our litigation team and the litigation team can address it or close it.

Re: Litigation
Since I solved my previous topic forumotion doesn't care for a abusing annoying artist or what you do as a founder like when I added in a art removal topic or a portal that helps it. I don't know what I should do but when I setup my portal an removal topic it felt right. Any way I am stuck right now in pleasing both a artist an forumotion on my setup in a topic or portal
As of now I have artwork Takedown policy portal setup
Topic artist Removal request it was open to guest before
Credit portal
An artwork credit current artwork permission I got by asking

Re: Litigation
Well Forumotion has a legal obligation, as does every other company in the world, to remove copyrighted content when it is made aware of it. It's international copyright law, nothing we can do about that.

Re: Litigation
You do understand that a person can sue you if there is copyrighted content on your forum. It states when you create a forum that you as the founder is responsible for what is on your forum.
So if the person or Forumotion ask you to remove copyrighted content, I would not complain.

Re: Litigation
Not the issue it's making it easier for them to tell me more quickly also you don't get a email on litigation report which screws you so I fault forumotion for that if your the founder an not revice this email. So I am fine to keep what I got up on my forumotion I put just asking because I see a email issue not get a alert of litigation
Re: Litigation
Using or taking Copyright items from the internet is breaking the law no matter what age you are and no matter where in the world you are.
No matter how you see it it's theft of some ones image / Items.
Your forum is lucky you just got a warning most sites get deleted and reported right away with no warnings.
When you make a forum hosted by us you tick the box to accept our TOS and laws before you make the forum.
