Mistake Redirecting Forum Address
Hello, recently my forums domain expired as the renewal was not offered this year as in the last few years and it reverted back to the original Forumotion address, https://simmersgarden.forumotion.com . But I was wondering why it did not redirect from the expired domain to the current Forumtotion address like it had done before in the past when my forum's domain expired so I mistakenly ticked the redirect to https://thesimmersgarden.com and now it says "This site can't be reached". I need help to get my forum back online again.

Re: Mistake Redirecting Forum Address
Hello,
Quite simply because when you let a domain name expire, that domain name returns to the public sphere and we lose control over it. It then becomes impossible to redirect it to the base address of the forum.
You have the possibility to buy it from your own registrar if it is available in order to create a redirect yourself. Or, a user may have bought it back and is using it as they wish.
In your case, I don't know what will happen to the domain name that is still with the GoDaddy registrar at the moment: http://thesimmersgarden.com/

Yes, I am aware of that and I don't plan to renew the domain name but that isn't the problem. Last evening, while thoughtlessly poking around in the Forum Address>domain redirect(I'm not sure if that is what it called; it is the last tab.) I ticked the yes box to redirect the address to that old domain name (that's the first domain name my forum had) I didn't realize that it would completely remove my forum online. Now when I try to go to https://simmersgarden.forumotion.com/ it redirects to https://simmersgarden.com/ , the very first domain name my forum name had. http://thesimmersgarden.com/ is the second domain name that recently expired that I don't plan to buy back. I can't post a screenshot of what I'm talking about because my forum no longer comes up but just redirects to http://thesimmersgarden.com/ . It's in the admin panel under General>Forum Address. Is there any way you can access my forum and make it accessible under public sphere again?
Re: Mistake Redirecting Forum Address
You can use the Forum Utilities to log in to your Admin panel.
Where you can change the settings your self and the address of your forum.
If this Don't work then we would be happy to help you more.

EDIT: I clicked this link https://simmersgarden.forumotion.com/forum
And it takes me to your site just fine
Clear your browser's then try again
