Support with connecting my new domain to my forumotion site
Hello,
Today I purchased a new domain and advanced package for my forum, however I am unsure how to connect the two together.
Any support is appreciated, thank you

Hello,
Was the domain purchased through Forumotion via the admin panel, or was the domain purchased externally (like through GoDaddy or some other domain register)?

I have gotten to the stage of connecting two name servers to my “registrar” however I’m not 100% sure on where this is
Is it connected to forumotion?

Re: Support with connecting my new domain to my forumotion site
Basically you need to 'point' your external domain to your free domain, so that it will redirect to your free Forumotion domain name. You need to do this by adding a CName record in your DNS settings on Godaddy and then entering your forum's free Forumotion url. Once this is done, you can then go the last step in that tutorial in your Forum admin panel to complete the process.
